Hiring Criteria

Minimum requirements for qualification with Usher Transport, Inc. include:

• Valid Class-A CDL
• 23 years of age
• 2-years verifiable Class A driving experience
• Maximum of 1 moving violation in the past 3 years CMV or Personal auto
• Non-prohibited status – D&A Clearinghouse
• Hazmat endorsement required
• Tank endorsement required
• Must have a TWIC card
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Must pass a DOT physical
• Must pass a DOT drug screen
• Successfully complete online training + orientation
• No serious moving violations in previous 5-years speeding 15+ over, reckless driving, use of handheld devices while driving CMV and Personal auto as examples
• No DUI convictions – previous 10- years.
• No preventable DOT collisions in the previous 3 years
