Today, I am happy to announce that Usher Transport, Inc. has been named the President’s Trophy Award winner for 2019. The President’s Trophy recognizes three motor carriers each year by size category, Under 25 million miles, Between 25 – 100 million miles, and over 100 million miles for outstanding achievements in safety.
The President’s Trophy is the most prestigious award the American Trucking Association (ATA) offers. To be eligible for the President’s Trophy, a carrier must place 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in the ATA’s Truck Safety Contest and Industrial Safety Contest, based solely on company safety performance.
The President’s Trophy Award encompasses all things safety, a carrier’s safety program, performance, policies and procedures, innovative approaches, year-over-year improvements, and much more. To win an award of this caliber, it takes an extremely dedicated group of professional drivers, owner-operators, and support staff working together for the same goal. Great job UT team, well deserved.
